Test networks and test tokens
Testnet tokens are free, unlimited, and worthless — deliberately. They exist so developers and validators can exercise the network.
Test tokens issued on any MintID test network (a) have no monetary value and are not offered, sold, or exchangeable for value; (b) are obtainable free of charge from a public faucet; (c) will not convert into, entitle the holder to, or be exchangeable for any token on any future main network; and (d) may be deleted at any time, including through full resets of the test network. Participation in a test network does not create any entitlement to future tokens or compensation. Any recognition of test-network contributors is made retroactively, at the operator’s sole discretion, and is never promised in advance.
